This is our story.
Few years ago, we come together to discern. After discerning what our missions are, we found ourselves in the company of rural children, whom we have given joy out of our meager resources. We were like colors, with our individual intensity blended on a palette, as the painter within us, sketch a picture of happiness and contentment which we have always dreamt of this society. From then on, the compass has pointed us towards the direction of reaching out and addressing the basic concerns of the majority. In the end, we internalized our collective experiences and reaped the intangible rewards of the works we have done.
Time has passed, yet new discoveries and inventions still titillate us, as much as resolves toward peace and development do. We know that we have not been satisfied. In our minds, we have conceded that we owe this world the best things our potentials could ever produce. Again, we recognized the harmonized beats of our heart, sending out the passion, the passion in creating bright and intellectual ideas.
Ours is a picture of ecstatic and artistic images. Ours is a vision of a world filled with happy and creative people, and we wake up and sleep with this vision in our minds. Hence, we reunited for a new adventure. We decided to embark into another work of art.
It was never easy, and it will never be. Despite the hopelessness and despair in this society, we remain optimistic. Our work could never be defeated by the pieces of shadows and vagueness, of visuals depicting apathy, poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, joblessness, crime rates, abuses, corruption and of crisis. Our endeavors are geared towards shaping an environment and conditions conducive to the full development of human person. While creativity and participation define our way of doing things, our programs reflect the utmost desire for societal change.
The creative story continues today. With new hope and more laughter, we will discover the world anew. We will work for the realization of our ideals – a society where life is worth living. We shall create possibilities for the poor and for ourselves through the power of color and diversity. In time, the blank canvas will be transformed into another Monalisa, serene and beautiful.
Sooner or later, our enthusiasm will be contagious. Enthusiasm will beget more enthusiasm. Viewers will surely be enchanted by our work of art, and it would not be impossible, if another Monalisa syndrome come about.
